Boomkat Product Review:
"Live Broadcast Recorded at Resonance FM. London, January 6th 2007." A noise band featuring such talents as Joachim Nordwall and Henrik Rylander, The Skull Defekts are one of Scandinavia's premier experimental exports. This single, twenty-minute composition originally arrived via Kning Disk on CD-R back in 2007. Now available digitally, this potent slab of analogue signal mauling is well worth rediscovering. It's by no means a relentlessly painful affair, and like the best material by Wolf Eyes, 'Polonium' is full of atmosphere and menace as well as sonic extremities. The coarse bass pulses bring to mind Mika Vainio, but there's something a little bit dirtier and nastier at work here that defies the precision of the Pan Sonic man's output.
