Boomkat Product Review:
Sissel Wincent, Isabella and Andre Kronert answer the call from Peder M for some techno mind warpers.
After pretty much ruling the roost in 2016, Peder Mannerfelt has waited until March to grace us with his presence, overseeing a rather brutal selection of techno experiments on his own PM Produktion label.
Leading out is the recent Borft debutant Isabella whose Ominate sounds like Lee Douglas’s An-i stuff jacked up on dicey steroids, setting the tone nicely for André Kronert’s sparse drum tool Tenth Street Rag.
Deep beneath, Mannerfelt carves out a demonic rave gurner from some rusted modular gear on WAKE UP! whilst Produktion alumn Sissel Wincent fires off some rapid pointillistic synthesis on the knotty Tricky Question Why.
