Healing Force Project hits square between the eye of jazz, techno and a psychedelic something else with his 2nd full length album, also featuring trumpet and effects Giorgio Li Calzi. If you checked and liked his recent 12”s for Firecracker and Berceuse Heroique, you’ll find even more esoteric, fusioneering styles on this one - although perhaps less dancefloor; more smoked-out chamber vibes.
“"Omicron Segment" is a non-conventional language album. At the same time has been conceived with logical thread and It developes in two different paths.
The first part has been inspired and contaminated by the stereophonic game of the seventies electric jazz such as the track "Attitudini Binaurali". Each element has its own dynamic, a proper space where sound is perceived and where acquires its dimension. The artist doesn't want to give precise landmarks shaping the sound with the contribution of the digital form, and the help of dedicated expanders with that typical seventies sound, drums patterns not always in the foreground alternating smooth sections with complex rhythms.
The second part starts with "Asymmetrical Ritual", a kaleidoscopic mixture of synths arrangements and afro elements followed by some contemporary drexcyian-electro cuts created with the help of the Mini Moog "Little Phatty" android sound such as "Quadrichromatic" and "Yarkovsky Effect". this album increases the need of originality and brings the echoes of restlessness of todays anxieties..."
