Boomkat Product Review:
One of European techno's most impressive sound designers presents his 2nd album on self-curated imprint, Time To Express. In this format he's afforded license to move beyond the strictures of the 'floor to experiment with bolder, abstract and complex arrangements, while keeping one beady, Terminator-style eye on the dance. 'Perceiver' starts out atmospheric 'Objects From The Past' and slowly finds its pace with the metallic deceleration of 'To Alter A Vector' and the almost '06 style Dubstep hulk of 'Seven, Green and Black'. Matters get knotty, IDM-like with 'Attack On The Reality Principle' and shift into aerodynamic formation with a run of sleek, signature 4/4 propulsion in the like of 'Nefertiti', the trancey flutters of 'Inspection In Solitude' and 'Raptures Coming', leaving the high-grade DJ tackle to the muscular thrust of 'Decoder', ad resolving techiest inclination with the aquatech torque of 'Europa / Unlit Bonfire'. Class.
