Boomkat Product Review:
Proper ruffneck slam-jams from NPLGNN for Phonica's promising new OKNO imprint. '1925' arrives 6 months or so after the Napolitan artist ran amok in the ballroom with 'Sigma / Tau' for Where To Now?, which piqued the attention of everyone from Ben UFO to Low Jack in the process. For this session he keeps the bugged-out production values intact, but switches to a more rave-nous style, cold killing it with a sizzling acid brukbeat twyst called 'Ravers Are Still Living' on the A-side, before pulling out his chewiest kicks, flinty hi-hats and railgun claps for the B-side's 'Break On The Rhythm', and bringing it to the saltiest peak with the primal swing of the title track featuring Deep. Wicked and bad!
