Boomkat Product Review:
Will somebody get Matt Edwards some valium please? The man is still awake since his killer 'No Sleep' installments last year ranked among our favourite techno records and comes back with Part Six displaying a new found affection for African tribal samples and slinkier Latin kinks. 'Koma Koma' is quite the flipside to tracks like 'Tantakatan's' dark kicking warehouse vibes, instead bringing a tribalised tech house shuffle with almost obligatory chanting reminding us of Villalobos' Sei Es Drum tracks, whilst 'Sundazed' is a pure international heater, made to be dropped on floors from Rio to Singapore and still shunt the crowd exactly where it needs to go with slick Latin syncopations and a filtered disco bassline that you can't really argue with. As ever it's Radio Slave's subtle mxing and mastering that makes these so deadly effective and always worth a punt if you've got a dancefloor to move. Killer.
