Boomkat Product Review:
Surely one of the finest producers operating within the parameters of techno today, Matt Edwards aka Radio Slave has consistently made this reviewer's jaw drop so much it's just painful now. Much like his remix of Len Faki's 'My black sheep' Edwards incorporates a subtle but essential hardcore element into his pristine tech house grooves, previously it was that devastating darkside synthline, this time it's a perfunctory snare that could have come from an Ed Rush hardstep production from 1998 on 'Tantakatan', but like only the finest producers can, Edwards succesfully weaves this jarring sound into a dub chord driven dub tech house with cool, cold precision, turning in an essential late night dancefloor mover in the process. 'Grindhouse tool' is a much straighter affair, a deep and long trip-out groove ideally designated for the all day rave crew at Panorama bar/Berghain. Killer.
