Boomkat Product Review:
Pj pops back for another 12” on proptronix: a grab bag of mystery usable for a multitude of applications...four different sized chunks of music, all substances to fit in different holes. Previously exalted for his regurgitative abilities on his first Proptronix release Barf - a track from it was recently featured on Optimo's How To Kill A DJ for Tigersushi. Here he explores another orifice of expulsion: synthesizing musical flatulence for boisterous dancing. “Milky rippers” breaks in the record with a tight puckered disco jack groove, reminiscent of a certain french bird. Turning the dial (er, record) mellows the mood with PJ's soft, wet and chewed up version of a Hall & Oates hit. 'Lite' laser disco toms sting a bit but do not burn..and in case you do sustain injuries Kanoko from Cinnamon is there to alleviate them with her dulcet assertions, surely the Balearic stealth hit here. Check!
