Boomkat Product Review:
This Columbus, Ohio trio are an old-school blues-rock in the most classic sense. Expect to start thinking of Cream-era Eric Clapton, Peter Green and Ritchie Blackmore. By Siltbreeze standards this is all surprisingly clean and untampered with, relying on the weight of good, old-fashioned guitar tone and some fairly exceptional musicianship. In addition to classy pentatonic power-trio rockers like 'ZZ Breakers' and the ace 'Livin' Like I Wanna' the band give a nod to the influence of Alvin Lee and co. with an extended cover of Ten Years After's 'Hear Me Calling', a song also notably covered by Slade in their early days, no less.
