Boomkat Product Review:
Despite the title tis two-tracker doesn't really betray a specific Detroit influence. Lead track 'Motor City' isn't as location specific a piece of techno as you might imagine then, but it still hits the spot in terms of hooky basslines and dramatic percussion edits, and it builds very well indeed over the course of a healthy eight minutes of synth-fuelled, energetic production. Next comes 'Lost', which takes its cues from acid, complete with squeaky 303 sounds and drum sounds that represent a halfway house between new digital technology and a doff of the cap to vintage machines.
