Boomkat Product Review:
Plaster delivers one of our favourite Stroboscopic Artefacts to date. His 'Monad XV' instalment is a focused, considered exercise in atmospheric suspension and frictional, swaggering momentum in four parts. On 'Quasar' he churns up roiling bass and white noise with a proper, lost-in-it wormhole effect, whilst 'Uret' is poised with that same coiled groove and industrial force that made us fall so hard for LADA's mighty 'Indust' - big tune, this! By contrast, 'Tangle' works off the bone with masticated white noise and ruddy slow techno bogle, and 'Libra' is a cavernous sound design rent with sepulchral pads and quasi-speed gothic hulk reminding of Raime. Recommended!
