Boomkat Product Review:
This trio of Canadian electro-punk provocateurs are out to make you dance and chortle in equal measure. 'Breakdance Hunx' sets retro synth stylings against no-rave beats and whimsical vocal duets. The samba-tech of 'We Are The New Keith Cole', is similarly loaded with comedy lyrics the like of which would turn the air blue. Another highlight (in a manner of speaking) is 'Cockwolves', which takes its musical cues from Suicide for the main part before stumbling into early '90s piano house territory, all the while those yammering vocals howling in your ears. There are a couple of remixes tacked on to the end of the record: Thomas Sinclair's reworking of 'In Every Dream Home A Heartache' and most notably a Psbeuys remix of the aforementioned 'Breakdance Hunx' which features a meandering additional vocal by none other than Boy George.
