Boomkat Product Review:
Florian Meindl was born in austria in 1985 and from the age of 16 has played support slots to the likes of Claude Young, Gayle San, Ricardo Villalobos. At the moment he’s heavily focused on minimal techno and house and has moved to London to study music technology. This is one versatile producer - in his tracks for Trapez he seems to subvert classic minimal as a means to transport us through to bass heavy, maximal joy. Both Meindel’s tracks here: “milk in tea“ and “tamiflop 2” are tricky, percussive and heavily polyrhythmic, wicked mixing tracks and attempting to raise the mothership “chicago“ to another level.
