Boomkat Product Review:
Templeyard Studios debut a noisy, chaotic set of machine jams with their native Greek label, Echovolt Records, arriving a few months after that rude DJ Phlowgod 12”.
Their six experiments find a dope balance of puckered grooves and slimy, salty electronic scree twisted into variations of body-quaking electro, Vatican Shadow-esque industrial shuffle, and an ace piece of scrambled jazz percussion and swarming noise that sounds like something you might expect from Mike Weis.
Or, as they put it; “The content of this object refers to the results of a research on another way of understanding the human soul, in order to achieve contact with a better destiny on parallel realities, crossing our path between time and space. (Templeyard Studios, 2014-2015)”
