Boomkat Product Review:
Artful Electronic songcraft heralding his forthcoming album for Planet Mu. Lush ballad 'Melpomene' derives its title from a Greek Muse and fuses ornate Gallic accordion motifs with Canterbury-style melodic complexity and fluttering electronic dynamics, progressing the already forward-thinking craft of his 'Great Western Laymen' LP. 'Arrows' meanwhile sounds like a more adult, skewed fusion of James Blake, Jimmy Edgar and Hyetal. µ-Ziq completes a fine single with a rawer, rhythm-driven remix of 'Melpomene' working a cascading moire of tape-looped textures and beats.
