Boomkat Product Review:
This week we're graced with the first fresh material from legendary producer Recloose in over two years, and it's safe to say, it's rather ace. 'Maui's lament' steps forward a few years from his previous outing for Peacefrog, pushing forward the electronic elements with a technicolour electro synthline and a grinding bass rub far removed from his usual analog warmth. The real icing on this particular cake is his trademark strings, creating a fully lush atmosphere with a gravity defying arrangement lifting the track into house heaven. 'Walk in Turquoise' is Recloose back to his old tricks, winding up a killer lo slung house variant with super crisp percussion and cosmic disco signals creating an ideal club killer, when that whistling melody morphs it's way in, you're slain. Quality assured goodness from the man like Recloose.
