Boomkat Product Review:
Kromestar seems to reserve his best material for Mala's immense Deep Medi imprint - and "Marz Attak" is quite possibly his finest twelve yet. The title track is full of those little synthetic shimmers and high-pitched oscillations that you'll more likely find on a Sleeparchive twelve than on any other dubstep that comes to mind, and the percussion is so sparse and functional that you yearn for other dubstep producers to start cleaning up their messy, over-burdened productions and start paying attention to the primary colors of BASS, percussion and space. In short - it's just a mighty, mighty track. "Rainy Dayz" on the flip makes use of more colourful synths and a summertime vibe that's punctuated by analogue snares and a steppers vibe that's for once anchored down by a suitably rugged bassline. Another killer track - get on this immense, clever twelve with haste.
