Boomkat Product Review:
Mono/Poly has made beats for Fat City and Rush Hour's crucial Beat Dimensions comp, but this Brainfeeder EP is the baddest of the lot. At seven tracks wide 'Manifestations' is also his most substantial release to date, allowing for scope to include lushed-out episodes like the exquisite ambience of 'Forest Dark' and near Dubstep levels of subbass madness. It's all still firmly rooted in HipHop, but like his Brainfeeder brethren there's no limits to their influences, resulting in the avant-electronic noises of 'Punch The Troll In The Neck', the bonky disco bobble of 'Needs Deodorant' or squirming dubstep memes stirred into 'Vibrations'. Ace.
