Boomkat Product Review:
MyMy dude and Ostgut Ton lynchpin Nick Hoppner offers the latest party guaranteed goods for Berlin's finest current techno and house label. We'd hazard a guess that this one was made with upstairs at Panorama Bar in mind, with both cuts confidently striding out on well toned and sensually aroused house rhythms primed for action on the floor that never sleeps. First up, 'Makeover' is an effortlessly fresh and modern house track with spaciously arranged layers of percussion driven by a plump subbass and given the all essential deep house inflections with a sampled blues croon perhaps hinting at some trend set by DJ Sprinkles. 'Foundling' is an altogether more sinister beast; you know the shifty looking fella/gyal that's been lurking at the edge of the dancefloor all night only to shimmy out in front of the speakers and knock out the best moves you've seen all night, they're this track. Dark, sexy and made for dancing, what more do you need? Big.
