Boomkat Product Review:
Now that's the Sh*t im talking about. Fulgeance will already be known to some of you from his truly wonked-out smart-arsery for the impeccable All City imprint some months back, but this brand new twelve for the increasingly essential Musique Large imprint is truly about as good as it gets in 2008. Spread across 6 tracks that occupy the very unstable and fertile ground somewhere between the vintage spannerisms of Dabrye, the squashed chaos of Rustie and the pharmaceutically induced dayglo mayhem of Modeselektor, the agenda here is strictly lop-sided in the relentless pursuit of good times with elements of Wonky, Hyphy and numerous Bass musics rubbing up against eachother for a multicoloured rough-n-tumble that has left us completely out of breath. If any of the above names ring your bells, or indeed if you're just in the market for some truly, unashamedly showy displays of wonky genius, form an orderly queue and take one of these babies home for some peerless late night pleasure - just watch them comedowns! ESSENTIAL PURCHASE!!!
