Boomkat Product Review:
Art Yard repackage two 10” volumes from 2010/2013, themselves comprising vintage cuts from the archive dating back to the ‘70s, taken from live recordings and the Sub-Underground series for El Saturn Records.
The 1st disc is loaded with Along Came Ra, a previously unissued live recording from Paris, ’83, and backed with the totally haunting, space jazz lament The Sky Is A Sea Of Darkness When There Is No Sun To Light The Way - proper spine-chilling styles - backed with a take on We Travel The Spaceways from their Milan, Italy concert in 1978.
On the 2nd disc you’ll cop two tracks from the LP known as Cosmo Earth Fantasy ; namely the languid beauty of Love Is For Always, recorded live at Temple University, Philadelphia, and mediative upstroke of The World Of Africa, probably recorded during the same sessions, backed with an hypnotic version of Space Is The pLace, We Roam The Cosmos, originally released on the What’s New? [ES752] edition of the Sub-Underground series.
