Boomkat Product Review:
This one-sided killer from Jeff Samuel was quite literally "Lost" at some point over the last six years. Since its debut in 2001 on new yoik label Remains, and subsequent disappearance with scant accreditation the record went on become a secret weapon for the minimal mafia - Hawtin, Ricardo, Dan Bell, Sammy Dee, Jeff Milligan have all busted it in the intervening period. Hawtin's "Transitions" actually featured the tune in the climactic moments of the mix, rocking beneath an a capella of the UR track "Transition" which gave the album its name. After continual fan based demand, Trapez have done the right thing and re-released this blueprint minimal classic - made with six samples and one directX reverb effect in the days prior to Ableton Live's predominance, Samuel's "Lost" stands up head and shoulders to this day. Don't delay!!
