Boomkat Product Review:
Secretive techno collective, Lost Trax keep it pure, deep and emotional on Lost2, faithfully playing to their classic Detroit and UK AI influences
Following on from The Saturnian System / The Sequel, Delsin bring together material from two more awesome Lost Trax EPs, originally out on Tabernacle Records circa 2011-12. This gear is riddled with the kind of tricks and sleights of hand which defined the OG styles, and which many try to emulate, but few achieve like these guys.
In The Eye that knowledge comes out beautifully in the transition from rolling electro-techno to more freeform, open dimensions, while Pulp cuts properly loose with warped synthlines and The Forest lands heavy on the blue notes with aching lush effect. B01 is right up there with classic Stinsons, and Dominion could feasibly be the work of B12, but of course its provenance is all hush hush and much better kept that way.
