Boomkat Product Review:
Electronica survivor Kristian Craig Robinson returns with the warm-up release for his fifth album. 'Libertania' heads into Notwist territory with a hooky song structure bolstered by violins, guitars, and of course a whole bank of electronics. It's hard to say exactly what point Robinson's trying to make with the utopian text that makes up 'Libertania's lyrics, but taken at face value it's a breezy, good natured enough narrative. On the flipside 'Go Go Go' is more of a sketch, with motoring guitars and a repetitive vocal whose sum total of lyrical content is almost identical to its title.
