Boomkat Product Review:
Sleazy New Wave roleplay from Oliver Ho in his Raudive guise for History Clock. It's probably not what you're used to hearing from Ho but actually comprises some of his best material since his 'Chamber Music' for Stefan Goldmann's Macro. A-side features the tweaky, minimal, mid-tempo strut of 'Levels' and the slow, smacked-out Kraut elan of 'Octagon', both made to serve red-lit basements and the like. Flipside he comes over all Chris & Cosey with grinding bass arpeggio, dissonant synths and gynoid vox on 'System' and the more urgent minimal wave pulsation, 'End Of The End'.
