Boomkat Product Review:
Jay Haze is a busy boy. In the last 12 months alone he's released a Fabric mix, a collab with Ricardo Villalobos, nuff remixes for other artists and even squeezed in this long player for BPitch. 'Let The Love Flow' is his first album under his F*ckpony (beware when googling!) alias since '06's 'Ride The Pony', and features Haze in a blissed dancefloor mood. Not trancy bliss, but more that sort of groovesome and warm housey bliss, creating ten tracks using his own vocals and richly harmonised basslines for a luxurious effect. This feeling is personified on 'I'm Burning Inside' with sparkling melodic motifs capturing that sort of Berlin-dancefloor yearning, before 'I Know It Happened' features Chela Simone ont he first of two lovely contributions with a poppy performance synced to deep house styled keys and bassline with off kilter sax. 'Orgasm On The Dancefloor Saturday Night' combines pianos, tibal percussion and eternal bassline grooves as the album's centrepiece, and 'Pills Medley' makes clear the narcotic house influences running deep through the album. One for the lovers!
