Boomkat Product Review:
The 'When MC's Had Skills' series continues with this later outing from the mega dope rapper Chill Rob G. An original 45 King classic, here 'Let Me Show You' appears as an early remix from Prince Paul and P.A. Mase (aka Maseo) then probably taking a break from recording 'De La Soul Is Dead'. A full fat horns and all remix give dope support for Chill's mind bending baratone vocab. Extended instrumental remix feature and both are extra large. The flip has 'Make It' in a Nephie Centano (45 Kings sometime engineer) remix dropping uptempo rap pop, Chill obviously pissed at the Snap 'Power' rip off and trying for an uptempo hit of his own. Still, gotta love those old school stabs ala World Class Wreckin' Cru. Tight mid school tackle. Dope.
