Boomkat Product Review:
**NOW AVAILABLE FLAC FORMAT** The mighty Kode 9 returns with another effortlessly, almost casually futuristic rhythm. The Space Ape in question bears remarkable similarities to Daddi G, who graced the unforgettable "Sign of the times" version, where we all started with this regal imprint. A huge half-stepping rhythm, where the thinnest sounding melodica segues into icey grimed up synth, over a template of dubbed guitar whorls, tabla and bells. Fearsome low end descends through the track, and you can fair feel the movement through neck, chest, stomach and into the calf muscles - this is bass for the explorers amongst you. Lyrically amazing too - "a head is a place where pleasure and pain collide" sends this listener into deep dissolve, The Space Ape bites out in his familiar languid style with maximum heaviness - "Kingstown" is simply massive, whether you're on decks or mics, chomp down on this jammy without delay.
