Boomkat Product Review:
Peaktime pounders from Regis (or Ian J. Richardson?!) circa 2000, now including the O/V cut ‘Kes’ as a bonus
The original two girders of ’Killing European Sons’ are still intact, with the heads-down Pt.1 and kinkier gnash of Pt.2 firmly in place, while we’ve just clocked that the skipping drums of the short Pt.3 (originally the B2 cut) are almost a stem for Regis’ CUB cuts that came 10 years later, just shorn of the scowling bassline. Pt. 4 was originally titled ‘Kes’ and still kills in the old ways with rattling, tunnelling groove offset by possessed vocals in a style shades away from the BMB style.
