Boomkat Product Review:
Here's something unusual for you; it's a charity album made by two teenage girls, 16-year-old Laura Green and 18-year-old Hannah Shayle-Kennedy. The project started back in 2004 when (an even younger, obviously) Laura Green recorded a song called 'Rocket Girl' with the help of parents and her Essex school. A video was posted on YouTube as a money-raising campaign for a sick school friend and was subsequently downloaded by tens of thousands of people. Six years on, this full album sees Laura joined by fellow vocalist Hannah, and with the proceeds of this album they aim to raise £30,000 for CLIC Sargent, the UK's leading children's cancer charity - a noble cause we're sure you'll agree.
