Boomkat Product Review:
Back in 1999 no house party was complete without paranoid conversations about the Millenium Bug or a complete run through of Mr Scruff's 'Keep It Unreal'. It was a surefire party starter for the dope heads, scruffy fonk types and Ninja Tune heads and really solidfied Scruff's status as an artist to watch. 10 years later and it's due a worthy reissue with a full analogue remaster remaining faithful to the original material. The fact that tracks like 'Spandex Man' and 'Get A Move On' still regularly appear on compilations and TV is a testament to how timeless the individual tracks were, and as an album it will undeniably become a feature in "how good was 1999?!" type roundups for decades to come. So this anniversary edition comes with the full remastered version of the album, backed with a nine track bonus disc bearing six previously unreleased tracks from the original studio sessions and a couple of bonus classics for the fans. We bet your original copy is on it's last legs by now so put it into storage before the jewel case disintergrates and plonk this shiny new digipak on your shelf instead!
