Boomkat Product Review:
Very tasty course of pooter dance music madness, chasing up Conditional’s mind-bending Williams Fields outing with loads of puckered rhythms and fractal 8-bit melody from the top shelf
Wickedly challenging and invigoratingly playful in a way we’ve all come to love and expect from Conditional, Trash Panda QC’s ‘Jumps 19’ works a sort of straightjacketed funk akin to Team Doyobi and SDEM but with a deep fried electronic sauciness of his own brewing, spitting out a special kind of nuttiness in cuts such as the salty, haywire twang of ‘Sea Games’, the tumping circuit board squabble of ‘reaching long arc’, and a sort of cubist dancehall craze in ‘Dicey’ that sounds like Novo Line losing his shit.
Or, as they put it: “Trash Panda QC TOTALLY Jumps 19!! Them quantum computer, quality control of cue sea. Qompassionate confusion on unenviably questionable content —— the queens qan council their quick conversion. Quiet comfort for qasual Sunday helps to quit quit caring. Another boar story, qold open on bird view from microbe.
A sound-wise taken; filed real quite concisely under “EXTREMITY / ROUND NOISE / QOMPUTER MUSIc”. The rash can sound now new seams. Qan’t ctop the bees.”
