Boomkat Product Review:
Another mega-anthem for an alternate reality from Sam Meringue aka Outer Limits Recordings. The devotional drone-pop smasher 'Julie' features golden lines like "Juleeeee/ You Don't Have To Kill To Be Happeeee" and "Juleeeee/Smell The Fear Upon Me When You're Scareeee" set to the most fugged-up swarms of tape noise and epically muffled drums with sticky synth secretions spurted all over the top. 'Plastik Child' comes from the same zone of brilliance as Autre Ne Veut, only amplified to the power of Nena and therefore disgustingly addictive. Highly recommended if you got the Greatest Hits 7" or have been copping the output of James Ferraro, Games, or any of Meringue's myriad other projects. F**king A, yeah?
