Boomkat Product Review:
Italy’s Domenico Crisco sustains the ballistic momentum of his Russian Torrent Versions and L.I.E.S. 12”s with four bristling techno pounders for Jealous God.
They’re no nonsense missiles aimed squarely at peak time assault, cutting from the serrated 16th note lead and badger bite claps of Unknown Body to a seething noise techno beast named Screaming Seagulls on the A-side, before romping for the big room with a gaping Berghain-shaped hole in Black Birds Over Naples, and the nobbling distortion of Alte Tanz to swill and spit you out on the other side.
No overstatement to say this is one of JG’s most punishing 12”s to date.
