Boomkat Product Review:
The classic triple album compiling the militant Underground Resistance label originally released in 1998, featuring tracks from the usual suspects, Drexciya, DJ Rolando, Mad Mike himself, The Suburban Knight, Chaos, Gerald Mitchell and more. If you don't own either of the UR compilations, you should, just check the Drexciya cut 'Aquatacizem' for a touch of their vocoder, and their unique electro programming, or the awesome Detroit classic 'Maroon' from James Pennington aka The Suburban Knight, or for more homegrown action both the Mad Mike cuts are heavy, not least the speedy 'Moor Horsemen on Bolarus 5'. And that accounts for a fraction of the killer cuts on here, militant techno from the original rebels, Underground Resistance. Killer.
