Boomkat Product Review:
One of New York house music's finest lays the shake-down on ya. It's his finest batch of trax since last year's mighty 'Gymnastics' album, and he's evidently saved the best for his own label, Strength Recordings. A-side comes with the hypnotic, elliptic shuffle of 'Out', accentuating and emphasising his personalised Afro-Latin percussion influences and background as a dancer to deadly, body-synched effect putting reams of by-numbers, plodding house music into sharp and unforgiving relief. Flipside, he comes smoother, more sensual with the offset tuck of 'Swayzee' sounding like some deeply related NYC cousin of Theo Parrish and 4Hero, before the mercurial, syncopated throb of 'In This Society' kisses off in killer style. TIPPED!
