Boomkat Product Review:
Daniel Maloso kicks out ten dark, killer jackers on Cómeme's 2nd album. Imbibing the sweat-drenched spirits of classic '80s and '90s body music - Chicago house, EBM, and Cologne techno - he follows up world-wide anthem 'Ritmo Especial' with a clutch of kinky, rubbery warehouse and basement funk, firing off the grubby hooks of 'Body Music', the shark-eyed drive of 'They Came At Night', and the swaggering 'Punk Reggae Disco' beside the unmissable strutter 'Cafe Obscuro', the unzipping bump of 'Right Kind' and the latino sleight of 'Steady Rollin (All My Life)'. Basically, it's a lot of fun, and tipped by everyone from Matias Aguayo to Michael Mayer and Capracara.
