Boomkat Product Review:
Kompakt welcome a brand new label into their fold this autumn. Named after Michael Mayer´s genre-defined mix cd from 2002, Immer looks likely to hark back to the early glory days of Profan, with Mayer, both the Voigts, Paape back together again, [and it feels so good!] The label promises handpicked personal treasures from Mayer's boxes and shelves, secret weapons from the last 15 years of his djing career. From the borders of deep-house to the vaults of minimal techno's nearly infinite history. The pilot for this new outlet is entitled "null" (or zero) as some kind of a ceremonial prelude to the official launch of this taste maker collection. The gates of Immer open with a selection of re-mastered, freshly pimped-up rarities to a realm of a thousand promises. Immer means always - always!
