Boomkat Product Review:
Strangely loved-up and raw house tracks from a Belgian producer trading as Hylas (although there are hints that he’s working incognito) with four nods to nineties house floors taking in the blue-tinted swagger and teasing Lil Louis inflection of Dreaming next to the Detroit-styled Kranky, before turning up the oddness with li-smacking dissonance applied to the rugged heave of mother’s Words and a pacier sort of Lowlands technohouse in Strange Noise.
Excellent sleeve art, too.
