Boomkat Product Review:
Peacocks, jungle sounds, 60s Hippie vibes, gotta be a Crispian Mills record, innit? Only there's an interesting twist to this... Following the demise of Kula Shaker over a decade ago, Crispian worked with Mark Pritchard on an ill-fated album, which is where these two tracks come from. They were recorded on David Gilmour's house-boat studio in London and swing between swaggering Donovan-esque 60s folk-pop on 'Healing Hands', and delicate, rather lovely pastoral psych-pop in 'Be Merciful'.
