Boomkat Product Review:
Luke Vibert does the thing once again, filling the 18th album under his own name with more jaunty acid-electro bouncers for fans of AFX, Mike Paradinas, and the rest of the gang.
We would never say if you've heard one Luke Vibert album you've heard them all, but if you've heard one of his albums for Hypercolour then you're probably not going to be completely surprised by "GRIT." Like its predecessors, it's a set of squelchy, good-natured and playful electronics that winds between disco, funk, hip-hop, electro and acid house influences while still sounding completely Vibert at all times. Fans of AFX's "Analord" series or Mike Paradinas's earliest bits will no-doubt have this one on pre-order already, right?
