Boomkat Product Review:
Luaka Bop do your dance a favour with this reissue of Nigerian disco maverick William Onyeabor's 1983 proto-electrofunk zinger. This is the sort of peerless disco badness you don't stumble across every day: A-side 'Let Us Fall In Love' winds up the nastiest, jagged synthline with bumping techno-boogie beats, fruitiest sax, synth flare and the sort of male / female vocals we almost guarantee will be stuck in your head for weeks after first contact, while 'Good Name' repeats the trick with another driving, highly sprung display of bouncing synth delirium and absolute ohrwurm vocal hooks. Check the samples and start your addiction, that is if you aren't already a member of the swelling Onyeabor fan club. Massive TIP!
