Boomkat Product Review:
Further to Geiom's 'Black Screen' album, Frijsfo serve two exclusive cuts and his deft collaboration with Hizatron. 'Glesprin' finds Kamal Joory aka Geiom at a rolling, swinging house tilt kinked out with kinetic polyrhythms and techy electronica quirks. 'Ferrite Gaps' is a touch deeper, darker, riding swollen and detuned Reese-like subs with fluctuating dub chords and tweaky rhythmelodics. The highlight has to be his lilting swinger 'Digitithe', finding an excellent balance between the pair's respective tastes for bittersweet dissonance and nimble drum programming.
