Boomkat Product Review:
First heard on his 'Underwater Dancehall' album, Pinch's dubstep soul jigga 'Get Up' gets remixed in various styles by RSD, Guido, L.V, and Jack Sparrow. Like Timbaland jamming with T++, 'Get Up' mixes future hypeR'n'Bass functions like a badman, paving the way for fellas like Guido and co 'pon its release back in '07 and still sounding as fresh as anything you can chuck at it today. RSD's version straightens out the techy flexibility of the original for a Rolling dub killer, while Guido provides a shocking mix, spun out with deadly house functions and insectoid electronic trickery. Jack Sparrow's mix concentrates on a lurching halfstep motion with epic rising strings and L.V provide a standardly dub-rooted version for the rootsy experience. Deadly set for fans of quality dubstep and deeper UK bass music.
