Boomkat Product Review:
My Best Friend take an excursion for the Limited series, this time into unashamed psychedelic territory. Break 3000's name has grown alongside the label, best known for his excellent last record with Adam Kroll 'Lick It/Paris' on mbf and his contrubution to the Dirt Crew projects. A monumental track, strangely beautiful yet quite deranged and bizarre, a literal trip in fact. Hard to resist the swathes of digital bass which impact on the senses - so dark it could as well be a technoid soundtrack for Tarkowsky's "Stalker", though somehow retainging a curious glamour. The flipside reveals a far smoother, straight house proposition, not as bizarre, much nicer and evidence of an engaging bipolar character. Schizoid in the nicest possible way imaginable.
