Find My Way / Quantum (Edit)
**NOW AVAILABLE IN FLAC FORMAT** In one of the heaviest weeks this year for dubstep releases, Kode 9 lords it over them all with hella long awaited 'Find My way remix'. The undoubted highlight of most K9 sets from the past 12 months, 'Find My way' is that one with the Keith Hudson style melodica intro and catchy as flu "got to find my way..." mantra from Massive Music's original version. Truly earning his place at the top of the dubstep table, Mr Goodman has laid it down proper with one of the most forward/backward thinking tracks of recent times, taking the dancehall templates of yore and updating them with serious studio time well spent, creating body scanning subbass from the year 3000 hitting like a good blast of nitrous, woven into non-linear progressions switching between pounding 4/4 and slo-mo halfstep quicker than Linford Christie on a bucket of red bull. The best dancefloor music gives the impression that you don't know what's coming next, but couldn't be any more natural, and Kode 9 has nailed that effect straight up. On the flip the dubstep vinyl fiends will be buzzing with a specially edited pressing of the previously CD only 'Quantum' with Space Ape, easily one of the best and most in demand cuts from 'Memories of the future'. To sum it up, this is probably one of the best records this man has produced since 'stalker', and considering he's one of the best producers around, that's saying something. Peerless.
