Boomkat Product Review:
As the head of Crosstown Rebels and a revered DJ in his own right, Damian Lazerus is tasked with mixing the latest Fabric disc. He casts a gilded net over the cream of contemporary House in a variety of forms, from fresh UK Funky like Roska's 'The Sheppard' to indietronic grooves such as Four Tet's 'Love Cry', but the bulk of the selection consists of prime Tech-House, exactly the type you'd expect to hear down Fabric on your next weekend out. Drawing from his own Crosstown Rebels catalogue we find cuts like the infectiously sexy 'Vampire Nightclub', and Soul Clap's old-skool style heater 'Break 4 Life', blended with anthems like the Claude Vonstroke mix of Kenny Larkin's 'Glob', The Mole's 'Nervous Disid' and more from Lee Jones, Agaric, Bill Holt, Swayzak and the rest. Rich pickings for all Tech-House fiends!
