Boomkat Product Review:
Following the recent re-release of the "cerebral" (their adjective, not ours) '76:14', the Global Communication duo of Mark Pritchard and Tom Middleton have been drafted into the neverending-story that is the Fabric series to deliver their first mix/collaboration as a duo in quite some time. Giving a nod to their old Jedi Knight selves with a Breezeblock-esque intro (moral of the story; don't f*ck with George Lucas and his Mr Whippy hair...), the boys Middleton & Pritchard then go on to stick the likes of Dabrye, Solid Groove, Artec, Steve Spacek, Balil and Danny Breaks into a co-habitation situation wholly more successful than Celebrity Big Brother. A markedly downbeat affair (but then what did you expect?), the Global goons keep it the right side of soporific through some deep hip-hop and broken breaks a-go-go, meaning you'll be just as likely to have a dabble before you go out as when you get back in. Pushing cloth!
