Chris & Cosey reprise their hookup with Nik Colk Void for a 2nd album of spectral industrial superstructures.
Three years after their 'Transverse' LP the trio appear more inward-looking, with backs to the listener whilst they hunker down on six extended jams which could just as easily be considered the document of a chemical chain reaction as the work of three exploratory industrialists. Latched to sluggish, knackered techno drills, they toil towards an ever-distant point on the horizon cloaked in layers of gloaming, reactant electronics and Colk Void's coruscating guitar tones, all perfused with Tutti's distinctive heavy breathing and orgiastic, ghost-in-the-machine glossolalia. Great stuff.
