Boomkat Product Review:
Parisian techno institute Fondation Sonore pairs two of Berlin's most uncompromising production units. Strictly adhering to 4/4 formulas, Kareem interprets 'Zealots' as chugging industrial techno with polluted atmospheres recalling his 'Black September' 12", while the AM take is perhaps less tense, but still throbbing with a slave-driving brutality and concealing some lethal noise dynamics at its core. With 'Dammerung Der Parhelia' AM interpret a sludgy momentum powered by booming bass and offset with steampress snares and visceral, caustic noise. Kareem's mix is more spectral, ominous, measured with a bellicose, evil poise.
